Beginning as a radio station intern in 2008, Tereva quickly proved herself to be an asset to WXRJ 94.9 LP-FM, the first Black and minority owned and operated radio station in Central Illinois. Her responsibilities and title changed as she became the Managing Assistant. Her dedication, organization, and professionalism later allowed her to serve as the Program Director for "What's Going On?", which provided interviews to local businesses, events, and organizations.
Late 2008, Tereva was presented with the opportunity to host her own show and gladly accepted. "Gospel Grooves with Tereva" aired Sunday mornings from 5am-9am CST. For 11 years, her charisma and charm blended chart topping songs, independent artists, local community announcements, guest interviews, and Gospel industry news.
Tereva welcomes the opportunity to serve as an event emcee for banquets and galas, concerts, fundraisers, and workshops.
